How did you get into the industry?
I realised at the age of 16 I wanted to work in the advertising industry. I did a work placement in an agency and loved the creative side, the buzz and excitement. In fact, I ended up marrying the MD's daughter, so those few days have never been forgotten.
If you weren't in this industry, what would you want to be doing?
I'm a creative person. I will always be in the creative industry. I have several friends who are photographers. Being a photographer really appeals to me.
Saying that, I'm addicted to the National Geographic channel. My wife keeps telling me to take a month off and do a Game Rangers course in the Kruger.
When you were six, ten, and sixteen, what were your dream jobs?
My dad was a pilot. Growing up I wanted to be like him. At 16 he bought me some flying lessons...I hated them. I then realised I wanted to be in the creative industry.
